Day 127: May 7, 2011

I love reading. It is one of my favorite ways to relax. My mom recommended a book, "All my Patients have Tales". It is a book written by a vet about his many humorous stories related to his patients and his career. It was a great book- I laughed and even had a few tears. Of course I had company- Frankie loves laying in bed with me while I read.

I think I could write a book about all of the funny things my clients have done or said and the experiences that I've learned in public accounting!

Day 126: May 6, 2011

Today at work I attended a multicultural event that included food from different countries and beer! It was neat trying different types of food that I've never had before. Of course, I tried most of the desserts, and they were my favorite (no surprise there!)

I'm happy that I work for an organization that promotes and encourages diversity.

Darrell's brother and sister, Tom and Lil, came down from Kansas to visit us.


Our Benihana chef dazzled us with his culinary ability.

Frankie LOVES to chew on bones. Big bones, meat filled bones, plain bones, he doesn't care- he has no bone bias.

Day 121: May 1, 2011

Due to the unpredictable Texas weather, Day 2 of the MS 150 was cancelled. I was bummed but I made the best of it.

I got a much deserved pedicure- pink flamenco!


I bought a couple new pairs of shoes.

It would have been more fun to ride 76 miles and finish what I started. However, I'm looking forward to next year's MS 150.
