Happy Halloween!
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. In an effort to remember the big and little events of my life, it is my New Year's resolution to blog about it.

Day 299: October 26, 2011
Since the debut of the iPhone 4Gs, I have been patiently waiting to get my very own!
It finally arrived today! I wish I didn't have to work so I could go home and play with my new phone. But since my job affords me to have such luxuries like new iPhones, I'll have to wait patiently until this evening after I get off work.

Day 298: October 25, 2011
Tonight, I attended the Bike MS Awards Dinner for the 2011 Ride. Team Deloitte won an award for most growth from the 2010 ride to the 2011 ride! I accepted the award with honor.
I am proud to be the captain of Team Deloitte, which raised over $20,000 for the National MS Society and is one of the Top 20 Fundraisers for the second consecutive year. I can't wait to see what the 2012 Bike MS Ride will bring. It is sure to be a good ride!

I went to a couple Rangers games this year- here and here. This season has been really exciting, after the Rangers made their first appearance in the World Series last year.
For the second consecutive year, the Rangers won the ALCS and are headed to the World Series again!!

On my trip to Boston, I started and finished Danielle Steel's newest book- Happy Birthday.
I love celebrating birthdays! This book was full of plenty of birthday fun!

Day 285: October 12, 2011
I'm quite the Starbucks lover and I collect Starbucks mugs wherever I travel.
I hit the jackpot in Boston! I got two Boston mugs and a New York mug!

Day 283: October 10, 2011
One of my favorite things to do while traveling is to try the local hot spots! I went to Mike's Pasty in Boston's North End.

I got the double chocolate cannoli. It was so rich and delicious!

My final business trip of the year (I think...and hope!) was to Boston, Massachusetts.

Day 281: October 8, 2011
Another exciting football game! You never know what is going to happen when the Aggies and the Red Raiders match up- always an exciting football game. This time- the Aggies came out on top with a win in Lubbock, 45-40.Friday, October 7, 2011
Day 280: October 7, 2011
I love celebrating holidays! Christmas is my favorite holiday, but anytime I have an excuse to use frosting and candy to decorate cookies, I'm in heaven!
I decorated a 'scary' gingerbread house for Halloween. I may have ate one of the orange gum drop windows... but the house still stands even with the missing window.

Day 278: October 5, 2011

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

I love holiday drinks, like Starbuck's Pumpkin Spice Latte. So it is no surprise that as soon as I heard about Orange Chocolate Milk for Halloween, I knew I needed to try it.
What's not to love, its festive and chocolate!

Day 275: October 2, 2011
I went to Joe T Garcia's in Fort Worth for dinner. There was a bit of a wait, but it was totally worth it. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful Texas 'fall' weather. The food was delicious and the margaritas were amazing.

I'm already looking forward to my next trip!

Day 274: October 1, 2011
I haven't blogged much about football yet this year- but that's not because of a lack of enthusiasm for the sport.
Texas A&M was officially accepted to the SEC on September 26, 2011. Perfect timing for the annual Southwest Classic football game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and Texas A&M, which is played at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. It was an exciting ballgame, but Texas A&M ran out of time.

The move to the SEC is bittersweet for me. I grew up watching Big 12 football. I spent my fall Saturdays in college tailgating and watching the Aggies play at Kyle Field against other Big 12 teams. I'm looking forward to next football season against different opponents in our new conference.
