Day 97: April 7, 2011

I spent Thursday night catching up on episodes of my favorite TV show, Grey's Anatomy.

The great feeling of getting off work at a normal time and having an evening still hasn't worn off yet.

Day 96: April 6, 2011

After 12 long weeks of busy season, I was much overdue for an adjustment by my chiropractor. A few adjustments later, and I'm back to new again.

Day 95: April 5, 2011

We issued the report only 5 days ago, but the fun never ends in public accounting! We started planning Q1 today.

Day 94: April 4, 2011

Today was my first day of work after busy season ended. I got off work at a 'normal' hour, the sun was still shining, and I had an evening!! It was tough to decide what to do, as I had long dreamed of this day when I was working crazy hours during busy season. I didn't know what to do with my self; should I go workout, meet a friend for dinner, take Frankie for a walk, watch TV, read a book, go shopping? The options were endless. It was almost overwhelming. I decided to just rent a movie from Redbox and spend the evening on the couch with Frankie. I rented "The Switch". It's a chick flick staring Jennifer Aniston, from "Friends". I enjoyed the movie and my first evening post-issuing the report. I look forward to many more to come.

Day 93: April 3, 2011

Although this is normally the Donut Route, it should have been called Windy Route. Today, the winds were a steady 20+ mph with gusts up to 30-40 mph. It was a short 20 mile bike ride, due to the crazy wind.

I hope the weather gods are kind for the MS 150 weekend.

Day 92: April 2, 2011

Tour of Dallas

For the third year in a row, I participated in the Tour of Dallas. It is one of my favorite rides of the cycle season. I love riding through the streets of Dallas with my cycle friends. The ride goes through downtown Dallas, Swiss Avenue Historic District, Lakewood, and White Rock Lake.

Day 91: April 1, 2011

I enjoyed the day off after issuing the report, and that's no April Fool's joke!

Frankie and I spent most of the weekend with our feet (or paws) up and relaxing after a tough busy season. I'm looking forward to life post busy season. There is a LOT to look forward to!
